The first sampling that I read was Lydia Fernandes. She talks a lot about trust and learning how to trust people. We are sort of similar in this aspect minus the fact that it is hard for me to trust people. She makes trusting people sound easy, but it does take some work. As for me, I dont trust people unless they give me a reason too.
The second sampling that I read was Tina Su, she is inspiring. She left something that she was getting paid a lot to do something that she loved to do. I am trying to go to school for what I truley believe that I am going to love to do. But you never know when things can change. And her doing that gives me hope that if someday I do change my mind I know that I can do it.
The third sampling that I read was Trisha Torrey, she is using her experiences as a cancer patient to help others who are going through what she went through. Even though she was misdiagnosed, it still helped her and helps others. She has a great heart, and that is something that all people could do with their experiences in their lives. I've been through a lot of goodbyes so using my experiences in that help me help otheres with what they are going through.
And the fourth sampling I read was about Ben Rosenfeld, he had two passions, and wasnt very good at the first one. After being booed to many times he decided that he needed to do the one he loved and was good at. We are kind of the same, i wanted to be a teacher, but I knew it wasnt going to make me happy my whole life, so i switched helped younger people towards the criminal justice field.
The linkedin person that I chose was Jason Alba, who was laid off from a company and used his free time to create Jibberjobber. And it just kept rising for him from there. He uses all the experiences he got from that and is now successful.
The second linkedin person that i chose was Mark Beckford, he has used all of his education to produce his business. And it has gone all over the country. He is a very dedicated man, and is a very global person. It gives me hope that one day I can start my own system and have it grow across the world.
My five criteria include:
1. trust
2. do what you love
3. help others
4. be good at it
5. dont give up
If i followed these criteria, i will hopefully be successful in my future career.
